It is important to note that childbirth complicated by the presence of meconium in the amniotic fluid increases the risk of operative delivery by caesarean section for fetal indications, since it can cause the development of aspiration syndrome in newborns, and increase the birth of children in a state of severe asphyxia.</p> ER -
